One of my absolute favorite things about the boating lifestyle is the people that are a part of it. Even in a metropolitan like New York, our marina offers a small escape from big city life. When you step onto the docks you are instantly transported to a small community where everyone says hello and knows your name. When we first were thinking about bringing our new boat to New York I wasn’t quite sure we’d get that up here but I am so glad I was wrong.
It should have come as no surprise when our dock neighbors decided to throw a dock party to celebrate the birth of Zoë and the engagement of our other neighbors Nicole and Justin, but somehow we were still surprised and extremely touched. These people have become such a wonderful part of our New York family and we honestly could not imagine life here without them. Thank you Mo and Peter for an absolutely wonderful day.

Zoë dressed appropriately in her sailor dress.
5. An Amazing Dock Party
Blake, Zoë and I are taking “Magic Hour” to the max with our sunset kissed glows. My Ergo carrier made keeping Zoë happy and safe so much easier as we were walking around the dock.Buy Now

7. An Amazing Dock Party
Nicole and Justin (on the ends) just got engaged and were the other half of the celebration. Angela and Guillermo recently joined the sailing community and we couldn’t be happier to have them at our marina. Its nice to have so many younger people around to keep our boating community vibrant.
8. An Amazing Dock Party
Not only were we celebrating Nicole and Justin’s engagement, they also renamed their boat!
9. An Amazing Dock Party
You certainly can’t rename a boat without a virgin peeing on the bow! Zoë to the rescue!
